you would need new brakets to put a factory bumper on the truck, I have then in the store.
What you have is not out of the ordinary.  If you don't like the combo just paint it or switch to what you like.  It is not going to make a big difference in the trucks value.

Sorry to keep beating this topic,,,but I just found some real proof!!  About 13 seconds into this video it shows the full line of 1977 chevy trucks at this dealership, and from what we can see, NONE of them have a rear bumper!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjBo2tLuKHc

So, I guess I'm gonna keep my mirrors white, rear bumper GM gray, and fromt bumper white to match rims and mirrors. Most of the trucks in the video have white bumpers.

How would that look? Weird or normal factory?

Nice video but the proof I found a while back was talking to the dealerships and GM.  I got pulled over for no bumper when I was 18 and they gave me a ticket for no rear bumper.  I went to court with the information and they threw the ticket out with the proof I had.  (this was in 1988...)

Thats a good combo, would look even better on a square body.  My factory color is seamist green.  I have not seen it anywhere.
