Window channel miss solved
« on: April 08, 2016, 03:31:22 pm »
Vile didnt even see my truck and mentioned (after i complained both door windows were missing the front felt channel) that my rear track needed to be moved forward. I hate taking door panels off because nothing ever lines back up right. Anyway, i finally tuffed it out and dug into it. Sure enough, he was right. The pic shows window rear track in the right spot, finger to the right is where it was. I must have obviously lined it up wrong when i installed all the new felt last fall. Wow, all this time.

ah one of those ahaha, ya my trucks drivers window had this exact problem when i bought it over the summer, when they replaced the drivers door (with a cheap misaligned aftermarket POS) they put the rear window channel in the same wrong spot as yours, they also forgot to keep the G.V.W.R. sticker  :-\

at least it was an easy fix for ya, did you get your door panels lined up right?

Yes, after a little bit of wrestling, i finally got em back on right. Applied a little white lithium to the working mechanisms as well.
