Driveshaft Help
«

I have a 86 C10 long bed with two piece driveshaft. I am going to swap in a 700R4. Will I need to go to a one piece or what length from trans to center support bearing do I need?

Family is not an important thing. It's everything.

depending on what trans/tail shaft you have now you may or may not have to do anything

Its is a three on the tree manual transmission. I believe the length will have to change.

I doubt your 3-speed is 30" long, but I have seen some with a long tail section.
Is the output shaft the same in size/splines? May not be...

Use this website as a tool and to find an inexpensive option. Use a one piece shaft.
