Those sorts of adjustment games frustrate the heck out of me...like strings of wadded-up Christmas light....

That is odd
dumb q but is the support post on the right too high?
If you push the right side down, does the left side pop up?

No sir...
I read it somewhere, to put a 2x4 (or the like) on the other side, and push down on the offending side, which I did with no success at all, but I don't want to push it any further for fear of bending it.
Hood pins are looking better and better all the time....

That's an old school way of getting sheet metal to cooperate
The way I see it, it couldn't hurt if it bends, it looks like it's bent already.
I would place the 2x4 or 6 on the left, and hang on the right side until it's even, poco a poco, you will probably divide the gap between both sides so look to drop the latch.
I think it comes up through the core top, maybe you can lower with washers and longer bolts.

The hood is only showing you the underlying issue. Let's see your door to cab and fender to door gaps.

Don't have any pics of those Vile, but they're all ok. Tailgate is jacked, but I'll take that on some other year. (needs all new pivots, etc...)

With just raising the bumper all the way out on the passenger's side, and lowering almost all the way on drivers, I've got it even now, but still too "open", so now it's time to figure out how to lower the latch. It needs to go about an 1/8-3/16-ish. Sorry that I'm moving so slow on this, I've been dealing with crap a/c compressors over and over.
