Hi. I'm Adam, 40 years old, married with 4 kids (number 5 due in 3 months) and I'm from England, UK. That's the little island over the water where it rains almost all the time!

I have an 81 C10 swb 2wd with a 454 motor. I had a 92 Chevy 454SS a few years back, blew a load of cash on it fitting a supercharger and other stuff and consequently sold it to ride motorcycles around tracks. Regretted selling it ever since so bought this old squarebody! I work in classic car shipping so getting her over here was not a problem.

American cars are still a rare sight in England unless you live near a US base. It makes no sense to drive them here. Gas prices are high, road tax is expensive and the roads too small.

My name is rick, I'm 24 years old, born and raised in Las Vegas, nv now living in caliente, nv which is about 190 miles away from Vegas. I had an 86 gmc a couple of years ago but it broke down on me. Was going to fix it but I bought an 84 Chevy k10 short box that I'm trying to finish. It's lowered with fresh paint job good looking rims with a 5.7 350 and th350 trans.

Well it's been a very long time since I've done the whole forum thing but here it goes

My name is Michael. I'm originally from flora MS, but I just recently moved to the Mankato, MN area with my beautiful fiancé and will be getting married in about a month.

I've worked on, built, raced, and loved these square body trucks all my life and I'm currently building/restoring my dad's ole 81 Chevy k10 that he passed down to me. I don't remember how to post pics again so I'll do that all later. I'll make a build thread and love showing off all the work I do... Hope to make some new friends and get to enjoy my ole Chevy with y'all...

Hello.  My name is Steve.  I live in Central Texas.  Currently working in Afghanistan.  Just picked up a '74 lwb and will definitely need a lot of questions answered as I try to tackle this project.  Current plan is to get her road worthy (almost there), and go from there.

Willie here, I just turned 56 wow that was quick it seems like I just bought my first Chevy yesterday in 1975! It was a 64' 256 4 door. I've had several 4x4's over the years Z71 GMC's mostly, but this 79'K10 SWB step side I got delivered here to Central Florida from Northern California yesterday will be the first one that I will be hands on restoring. I have so many questions right now I don't know where to start, but It looks like I joined the right forum from the posts I've read so thanks in advance for all the help that you hopefully will provide, and maybe in time I can return the favor. thanx Willie

Hi Willie!  New here, too, and also in Central Florida!  I'm in no man's land between Ocala and Tampa.

Husband and I bought a 1982 Chevy C20 almost 4 years ago and have been nursing it back to health excruciatingly slow.   Poor thing needs a lot of lovin'.  I found this site back when we got the truck, but life has a way of interfering.   Looking forward to being in the company of other Chevy truck enthusiasts and picking all y'all's brains!

Hi I am Joe, I am a grandfather and a proud veteran. I have owned several square body trucks just love them. My current and last is an 87 Silverado which I am the second owner of. It runs great for having just over 200 k miles on it .I do most of my own repairs and this site as helped tremendously. I hope to get it painted someday but was recently forced to retire so I have a lower paying job, so the repaint will be put on the back burner. This was a very good idea, I would like to hear from more of the members in the Arizona area.

Thanks,
Joe

Hey I'm Isaac, I'm new to the whole forum thing and figured I would give it a go. I own an 85 silverado that was my dads truck since I was 4 years old and it's seen good times as well as bad times lol. he handed it down to me and I'm currently in the restoration process, would really like to do alot of the work myself, which brought me here hoping to connect and gain some knowledge from members that have been around the block with these trucks while hoping to make some friends. I live in NYC and have only seen about 5 C10 pickups in this city so I figured why not branch out.

Thanks,
Isaac

From Western, MA, family man, devoted to the Lord, saved by grace!  I just sold a f-350 diesel for 8k and bought a 1977 Bonanza-20, I guess it's a C-20 1/2 ton. It's really mint, a "barn find".  Oh well, I am slowly tinkering with it until it looks like it did in 1977.  I have not owned a chevy since the early 90's. It's good to be back!
