Thanks guys i appreciate the compliments.
It took alot out of me to get it this far.4days of busting my hump to plastic the walls, the floors, get the wooden structure up and then get it all ready. It should look wicked all done and im looking forward now to wetsanding it and buffing it out.. So now after all the pics you guys seen its starting to make some seroius progress.I shouldve just done the priming myself.I wouldve saved alot but eh live n learn i guess. So now if you guys want your truck done besides blazin here you got another painter on board lol...

thanks
pat
p.s. i even painted the steering column the same color as the truck.Rather then just leaving it plain ol black i gave it some sprucing since this column has had a new lease on life from a old junkyard truck and totally overhauled..

Thanks guys
i`m gonna take the column down tomorrow and put it in the sunlight with the shifter and controlls on that are billet i`m putting on.. Its alot and i do mean alot of work but it was well worth the work i put into it.. I like to build another truck but i always have had a soft spot in my heart for 81-7 buick regals since i owned 4 in my life.I `m considering making it 5 with a big block. But for now my focus is getting this done and together, i`m gonna take the waterpump off and put a polished one on as well as a set of headers on there with a serpantine setup before i put the front end on .So keep checking on here people the best is yet to come lol...
thanks

Well i been making some progress on it. I got the cab all 1200 wetsanded today, i thought i was goingto have some problems wetsanding it.I had a problem in the front fender i got some water in the clear,i dabbed it out with a tack rag and layed on 2 more coats of clear on it.Sure enough the 1200 took it all out so it looks to be ok and i wont need to do anymore repainting on it.. So now i gotta get the cab done and im gonna start ordering the fuel cell, lines, brake lines, i`m going to do the disc brake rear conversion kit during my christmas shut down and im gonna order my carb, headers, im going to change out the waterpump to a polished 1 and at the same time a polished intake as well. I figure that should cover most of the parts for quite some time... Question i ruined some of the threads in 2 of the lug nut studs on 1 of the front rotors can they be replaced or are they part of the rotor??
thanks everyone for the great compliments i`m getting great feedback on the color from everyone and it feels good to FINALLY have this truck in 1 color... I wetsanded it and i can tell its gonna look awesome.. I`m going to build a center console i think one the cab is on out of brake line tubing and sheetmetal and it should look good once i do that and paint it and do some leather work to match the seats and the dash once done...

thanks

Nice job, looks awesome!
The studs are changeable.

yes you can just replace the studs in the roator now if there groves or anything in the roator id just replace the whole thing also when you start on the center console be sure to take lots of pics and describe how your doing it all because i've been thinking about putting bucket seats in my stepside but wast not sure what to do for a center console thanks 8)

What up guys,
well i went a little overboard this week and spent almost 2k in parts.dang CC is smokin, i got rid of that CC i need to getthis thing under control lol.. Anyway i think you all remember what the motor looked like before so here is a NEW pic of what i put on the other day.A new intake, carb, waterpump and headers.I just bought my fuel cell and all my serpantine pulleys tonight.Next week the resto f the parts will be in and then i`m gona cool it for awhile before i get out of control and do something i`ll regret in the future ..
Check it out

Looks great except for that rusty brown water outlet nipple sticking out of the intake. Get a new one of those, they have em in brass or coated shiny ones now too. During your credit card frenzy you shoulda squeezed in a new distributor too  ;)
