Awesome! I'm loving this build, and I can't wait to see it come together. You're doin a superb job and it's very inspiring to me to get working on my truck.

Thanks layne,
i never got a call from the body shop which is ok since it was raining.I`ll go get them next week and hopefully  by the end of the week i`ll get some warmer weather and get back into it.I been buying some odds and ends pieces from some members here but im hoping to get more soon. I knew i shouldve never sold all my parts from my 1st stepside.Oh well live n learn.I like to get this truck done soon it'll be a truck once again.I love to build another truck after this 1.But i don`t think i`ll go this extreme as far a NEW parts. We will see exactly what is on the horizon after this truck is done as far as a future project.I`m trying to sell my big block parts but  i think i`m going to keep them ...

thanks
pat

Doug,
those brackets are 1/4 inch steel strips i ran across the frame and bolted them to the frame and to the fuel cell. The guy i had do the welding welded 2 90 degree aluminum pieces to the fuel cell and since the frame is somewhat on a down slope in the back i used (2) 1 inch spacers to just keep it enough on a down incline for the fuel to come out by the bottom. It took a little time but its in and fits great.I just gotta relocate the bracket that holds the brake line to the frame again..

thanks

Well i just got done herculining the rear stepside fenders on the inside.(God i love this stuff).I sanded it all w/ 220 and then a scratch pad (green). And put 2 good coats on it.Going to let it sit for about 2-3 days n then do the front inner fenders on the outside. But been awhile since i worked on it.I did get the brake booster bracket i modified all bolted in and clear siliconed the edges..Like to get the rear fenders bolted on eventually but still got a ways to go before i can do that..
thanks

Nice. You rolled it on, or sprayed it? I like the texture.

Rolled it on. I went in the garage today and prepped the undersides of the frnt inner fenders.Going to get myself a used roll of tape from work to plug up the holes. And when i get home from work (3am).I`m going to put a coat on and then go back when i wake up in the late morning and put down a 2nd coat and that will be it for the herculiner coating.. More pics to come  ;D

thanks
