Thanks for the eye candy.  That engine is like a diamond.

What kind of an accessory drive will you be running?  March Ultra?

Yes by march performance serpantine setup.Although i got a keyway power steering pump pulley i am going to look for a keyway pump instead of a press on fit one as we have on our trucks..

the truck is looking good man i saw your looking for a new harness, i got one for my stepside from a company called ez wireing, the fuse block is all pre wired, and the wires are labled where they go every 5 inches it cost after tax and shiping 280, if i remember corectly they have a web site go check them out, there the same quality as the bigger named harnesses i think but a lot cheaper, just given you another idea where you can get a harness if chris doesnt sell them 8)

I appreciate the heads up man.

Chris i am going to go with the 1 1983 has provided me.Although chris im sure is busy as heck like vile here on their rigs i think i will go with this 1 you named.I am trying man with the funds i got i am limited now to so much.I am doing a rear disc conversion kit from a 1995 impala SS .Only downfall is there is no E brake. But it should be ok..But im hopingto have almost all but the interior done by winter...2 major components im looking at are the radiator and the brake booster which will be close to 1,000.00 So right now i`m doing lil by little...

thanks

no problem man im glad i was able to help someone finally on this site for once, i havent installed my harness yet for as im no where ready for it, i jumped the gun a little on buying it but i guess at least now when im ready ill have it, but it comes with all the conectors for the headlights and and its wired for a gm column, the only thing is if your planning on running stock gauges youll have to figure a way to get the new harness to work on the stock gauges let me know how it goes when you get it and install it 8)

Thanks lucky,
it is a labor of love and a definate wallett drainer lol... I figured i got the spare rearend and the rest of the underside was done nicely i may as well go the extra mile and do it to the rearend.Funny thing is i just had the drums cut and all new brakes and cables and hardware put into the 1 i just redid.. But i think since im running 20s on the rear it would look better all nice n powdercoated and shiny..So this friday i`m sending the housing to get powdercoated and then get it back and save up for the internals like a set of gears and a locker and  go from there...

thanks

Ok well i got some more eye candy rearend is back from powdercoat, sorry for the blurry pic, bed is comming along.I had my folks buy me the wood kit so i stained it w/ 3 coats of BEHR redwood stain and 3 heavy coats of polycrylic clearcoat.I need to add the metal braces underneath and then cut the hole for the gas door..But its comming along very slowly but hoping to get the parts for the rearend soon.I need to get my backside in high gear n get this thing going a lil faster then its currently going....
thanks

That looks killer man! Can't wait to see it on the truck

All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.
