What up folks,
well i have been making some serious progress on the trucks cab.I got the door jambs left to fix and fill and the mud work for the cab is FINISHED!!!!!!!!! i am sending my dash out in a week or so to have some holes filled since i don't got the patience or the energy.Once it gets back i`m gonna weld it in and before i do that i`m gonna herculine the inner firewall and cut a hole on the drivers side of the cab for the fresh air vent.I been selling a lot of my spare stuff and i sold a car i had this past weekend so it frees up some space and some spending cash.Hopefully by the middle of next month the cab will be done completely and on the frame for good.Bu no pics right now but I'm happy the heaviest of the bodywork is comming to a end.Now the rest is small stuff.

thanks
pat

p.s. maybe by this weekend i`ll have some pics of the cab and see you all do this expression  :o :o
 ;D

I'm at about the same stage as you in your vid with the cab on my 74. I hate body work but when you get to the end result is when it's worth it as long as you don't drop dead from breathing in so much crap. Looking forward to seeing more pix.

Sad thing is guys i bought the cab for 600.00 thinking i got a great deal. I put more work into this cab then i did my entire convertible.I should call it the mud monster rather then medusa.I know the old saying is no matter how much you put on it your gonna take it off but after going thru a gallon and a quart of filler i think i couldve done better. But the thing that sold me was the rock solid floors and rockers. But  i`m gonna get the jambs done this weekend and take pics like i mentioned. Then i can put the bodywork in cruise control. ;D

thanks

Well true to my word i got the cab done last night FINALLY!!!!!! I was out there last night till 4 am getting this done.I was outside for 7 hours working on the pass side door jamb and the lower spot welds of the rocker panels.I `m downloading the cab video right now on youtube, once its done i`ll update this reply and you can all see the amount of bodywork i did to this cab 1st hand. Thank God i`m not gonna do this ever again to a truck cab...

Dusty,
thanks man,  got the cab off the dolly today and up on sawhorses. I am gonna do the bottom of the cab this week.I got the dash i bought from a member here out as well, took off all the unnecessary things and discarded them. I am gonna remove the welded junk on the top part of the dash and then send it out to a welder to weld up the holes and powdercoat a bunch more parts next week
thanks
pat

P.S. I WILL NEVER DO THIS AGAIN its to much work, i guess i`m way to picky.  ;D

Thanks for the compliments guys.I am happy its finished.I use to come out after work till about 5am sometimes 6am come in got to bed get up at 11:30 from 12 noon to 2pm work on it and then get ready to go to work and come home and do it some more.Only thing that kept me from saying the heck with this was them floors. If they were rusted i wouldve thrown it out and found another 1 that was better.I emailed the guy i bought it from as well as the link and no replies yet. I wanted him to see what it took me to get this cab done to the way it is now.Luckily some of the dents i could access fro mwhe corners and where the dome light is there was some good dents there and i was lucky they were right there. But i`m glad you guys liked the work i put into the cab.Its alot i`ll say i never experienced anything like this. Its really all downhill now, i gotta weld up frogs dash i got awhile back, once i getthe dash back from having some work done i`m gonna herculine the entire floor up to the back wall and do the entire inner firewall and the bottom. Then once its done and on the frame i`m gonna do the front fenders and those should take a day or 2, weld up the emblem holes and the wheel well moulding holes and smooth it all out.I`m praying by late summer early fall all the bodywork will be done. And by christmas shutdown i`ll try to get it in paint.I am relieved its done. So you guys like my work eh? pay my room and board and feed me and throw me some loot and i`m there lol......
thanks
