I did the 90 blazer front end job on my 79...Just wondering what coolant bottle do I use? it has the 90 model inner fenders...Reason I ask is I have tried to buy this on ebay but they are never listed as 88-91 blazer or suburban coolant bottles...Can the one for a truck those years work? they are listed. I need a new one...I know this is a stupid question.

just run the over flow hose into an old oil bottle or something botled to the inside of the fender.

Its actually not an overflow bottle it's an expansion tank. When the cooling system heats up the radiator cap allows a small amount of coolant to enter the expansion tank. As it cools the radiator cap allows the coolant to be drawn back into the radiator. So an expansion tank should be able to hold a reserve of at least a pint and be able to catch ideally 2 quarts. So if you make your own don't make it too small.

You should be able to use anything from 85 to 87 if you have the new 88 to 91 inner fender. You can buy them from or from ebay, but has them for about thirty bucks.

88-98 truck pieces won't work. You need something from either the 88-91 R/V or you can try one from the 81-87. I can't remember if they changed those.

isn't going to be able to help you regardless of who you talk to.
If you have the 89-91 R/V frontend, you need the same year tank. Have you called the dealership and asked for one for a 91 Suburban/Blazer? They MIGHT have it.
