blue smoke, white smoke, purple smoke (oh, I 'm getting carried away)??Check your oil to ensure there is no antifreeze getting in the oil pan. YOu should be able to tell on your dipstick. If so, you either have a head gasket problem or you have a crack in the block/head etc...You can do a compression test on each cylinder--if it is blue smoke, you may have a valve seal messing up--or a broken ring on a piston. I broke a piston ring one time on an engine I rebuilt when I was 16 (I didn't spend the money to bore it out correctly--I just honed it out) and smoke was EVERYWHERE! It did last a couple of years when money was hard to come by Mason is dancin' again!! March Madness baby!
