Has anyone else heard this rumor?

About three years ago a guy came up to me while I was fueling my ’87 Chevy truck at the gas-station where I live. He talked to me about my truck and told me that he had heard that GM was planning on redesigning their trucks to have a general overall appearance, similar to the ’73-‘87 (full-size) trucks. I didn’t pay it that much attention at first, but just yesterday someone told me the same thing again. Could it be true? I have seen pictures of the new Chevy trucks that are coming out soon, but they look nothing like the ’73-‘87s. Maybe people are talking about the next body style that will replace the ones that are coming out later this year.:\

Have not heard anything like that, but that would be fine by me. I have not liked chevys style since they switched in 88.
They should make them the exact style only tighten up their tolerances so panels line up/fit better. Then install the latest and greatest drivetrain technology. And for the sake of all things good, bring back the solid front axel for the 4x4 guys.

I found this future GMC.Park it beside Sgt. Dels' rig and you wouldn't know which is which.

Oh, yeah, pugsy, here is my sub, gee, I can't see much diiference.




I'll take mine over any new design they could ever produce.  Besides, I don't wanna pay $60k for a new style truck.

i haven't heard anything like that. thst thing above looks funky. i hope they don't come out with a truck that looks like the 73 -87s they'll just screw it up.
