2502 project
« on: April 04, 2008, 01:43:28 am »
been eyeing the neighbor's wreck for a while now... and i finally got them. pushing it into my driveway tomorrow but it's mine. so now i got a nice parts truck for NOTHING. well, 500. pretty much has anything i wanted in mine already, and it's got a nice 350 crate motor which i have no idea what's been done to it. but it had won a few trophies before it's demise. i can't wait to start. all i'm missing now is a shaved door kit.

Sweet, $500? Good deal!
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

Oh yeah, that's a good deal.   I hope I have that kind of luck.  There's one similar to that around the corner from my house and I want it.  It's about that color, and lowered just like that.

http://eastwood.resultspage.com/search?p=Q&ts=custom&w=+wheel+rust+remover&Search.x=26&Search.y=15
thanks thanks... i been watching this censored word's will get you removed from this forum thing for a YEAR waiting. and yesterday, i drive down, see him in there... now i've harassed the old woman who insists they were going to fix it... but i was like hey, i got cash if you wanna sell it... and he says, no sold it!

i was like  NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... i told that old bat to CALL ME if they wanted to sell it. he's like guy's coming to get it, sold it for 500. i was like did he give you anything yet? when he said no, i drove thru the yard and said tell him to edited i'll give you an extra hundred and give you the cash now.

so within a few minutes the chick that owned it was down at the house, we wrote up a contract and she's got the title in hand that i'll prob go pick up later on tonight. they can't get away. it's at the end of my street. i can see it from my bedroom window. muahahahaha. i was dancing like i was on medication i'm THAT excited. i got so depressed looking at it sit there and rot.

i would have two prokects, but the frame on this thing is twisted so bad, i just wanna take what i need and sell the rest.

have the 79 shortbed, dual tanks, with the olds swap done to it. it had a 260 in it that died, so i bought an olds 350 before getting the neighbor's 80 that she wrecked. her bed was in better condition than mine, so i'm taking that and sold my orignial. she had a 350 crate motor swapped into hers, so she says, so i'm taking that motor and tranny and going all chevy. i'm not mechanically inclined so i have to rely on relatives and friends that are to help out... so it's coming along VERY slowly... but here's some progress pics
