Gas tank question
«

Does anyone know if you can use a fullsize box gas tank in a shortbox?? If not why??
My current tank is out now-
what a PITA that was!!
The tank i took out is 44" long
I assume my old tank is 16 gallon , will the 20 gallon fit with the shortbed?

No it won't fit. You can put 2 16 gallon tanks in though.

is this a 'easy' do into my facory single tank short bed??
Of course I would need 2 short tanks for mine. Can i make this work with a single door box?

yeah I had my truck set up with a cross feed. Tank A has filler. Tank B feeds carburetor. Tank B has active fuel gauge. Fill tank A then flip on the switch to pump tank A into tank B. You have to watch the gauge. The refill tank a and u have 2 full tanks. It's kinda hokey but works.
