chrome striping

ok the chrome striping that is at the top of the drivers and passenger side window, do they slide out?

do you mean chrome strips? as in the rain gutters? they unbolt if so

yea mine unscrews but when i go to take one of the screws out the screw driver is to the side, so it wont come out but i thought that one peice slid out.

you just gotta get the screwdriver on it just enough to get it off...if you can't, then maybe get some pliers on the drip rail where the screw is and bend it out of the way...I took mine off and remember a couple of them being a pain to get off, but I didn't have to bend any of them...

You can get a bottle opener and gently remove the outer stainless from the gutter. that would give you a little more room and for some of the screws, a notched access way.

I have always managed to remove them with out removing this piece, though.
