Thanks Guys :)  As you know there is not headers availble for these trucks and turbo's so I opted to make a very simple set of log headers. They fit close to the block and are a straight forward design. I have to finish the downpipes they will be ceramic coated as well.

Cubic, Glad to see someone is making progress on their turbo system (mine has stalled due to other things taking priority of time available). That thing will be a BEAST!
Not for the purpose to pick your build apart, but after much research for mine...I see something that concerns me: Your wastegate placement. Unfortunately it is in a much less than optimum position to do it's job. Since you have the coating done, going ahead & trying it is probably the way to go, but controlling boost very well is unlikely.
The ideal place is on the OUTSIDE of the bend since the flow can't help but hug the outside wall of the pipe & inturn "filling" the gate...second best would be on the top or bottom of the tube angled toward the turbo (direction of flow). Also, the angle out of the gate would be best to be @ a 45* or so to the downpipe so it's going with the flow of the exhaust (like a header evac. tube) using the exhaust to siphon flow out of the gate, not banging into the stream @ 90* & keeping the exhaust IN the gate.
Please don't take offence, just wanted to bring this to your attention in case problems arise controlling/lowering boost...you'll at least have a "heads up" of the possibility. Good Luck with your build! Keep us posted on your progress. Lorne

Thanks Lorne :)  I appreaciate the feedback, this is my first shot at a custon turbo build and its definatlly a learning experence, i'll give it a shot and if I have some issues I will re address. These are all chinese componanants so I am pretty worried about the quality I really just wanted to get the basic system in first then start modifying from there.

My next project is a single turbo 6.0ltr for my Buick Regal T Type daily driver :):):)

Well it's been a while since I've updated this post, I've got tone some good progress, and I am hoping to be complete less paint by the end if June. I am currently waiting on my tranny to come back from the shop so I have been working on my interior and oak bed.

Thanks
Man

I am not sure of Boost level yet, I want to get it totally on the road, the bugs worked out, and to the Dyno. When I started this build a ton of years ago I had grandios ideas but as I get closer to the end I'd just like to finish it and make some good power :)

I cant beileve how long its been since I've started this rebuild, from the time I started I gotten divorced, changed jobs, closed a plant down, changed jobs again, Installed a cummins in my dually, gotten remarried, bought a Nova, Wreckied my Dually, bought a house....Holy Crap :)

However I am getting really close now and thats all that Matters :)

Thats a lot to go through, these things take time. It'll be awhile before my truck is the way I want it. Good luck!
