Well its been a long time since I have updated this project, I got back from mexico in December and am back to work in the states for good
I have decided to go another route on this truck and I am install a twin turbo 489 BBC. The engine came from my dually when I installed the cummins.
The engine-4.250 Stroke Scat Forged, 4.280 Bore, 6.385 H beam rods, SRP Forged pistons, JE Rings, Comp cams Solid roller Blower cam, Comp Cams Lifters, Victor Single plane intake, 2 Godspeed (ebay special) turbos T72 with T4 flange, .84A/R. KRC power steering pump. Racepumps fuel pump and regulator, Blow through modified 850 AD Mighty demon.
I have it down to the frame right now and last year i had a fabricator fix my poor 4 link installation and install a ford 9 inch, I installed Moser axels 35 spline and I robbed my strange center section form my racecar 35 spline detroit locker with 3.21 gears.
I installed disc brakes in the rear from an Ebay kit and I installed a hydraboost master cylinder.
I just finished installing all new brake lines that goes through a new line lock, and rounted and clamped the tail light wire harness.
I am currently routing a new -10 fuel line and battary cable for the rear battary and cut off switch and putting the interior and elictrical back together.
My overall vision of this truck is to put it back on the street and drive it quite a bit, The roll cage was removed last year to re do and I decided to keep it out all together. The engine will be pump gas and I will intercool it with methonal injection. I would like this to make great powerbut be drivable and have the overall appearence of just a lowered truck with big tires
kind of a sleeper
I am hopefull this will be done this year but it's really hard to say, I will try to get some pics loaded and document the process just like my dually.

Hey Everyone
I have been plugging away on this build and its starting to come together finally. I have been able to final install the brakes, the master cylinder, the center section, axels, fuel line, battary cable,and the engine is built except when I was installing it to my run stand I found out I have to pull the oil pan to redrill the Turbo drain lines, I put them close to the rear of the pan and 1 side interferes with the starter.
I should be able to run it this week and post the vid.
Next on the list is to install and start fab work on the turbo's

Ditto.
If you only run 10s on 1000hp I'd have to bet it's due to lack of traction. Seems a lot of money into a powerplant for something that could be done on half the hp...

I got my Headers complete finally< When I first put the Log Headers together I found out really quick that the spark plugs would not be easily removed so I came up with the idea to install reverse blisters, I hole sawed 2 holes offset cleaned them up, then cut 3/4 exhaust pipe in half and installed them upside down un the holes Welded and cleaned them up. Not as pretty as store bought's but functional
I think with some coating they will look ok. Installing the Blisters also beefed them up as well.
Next step is to start working the intercooler installation and plumbing.

impressive to say the least. This will be in the crazy fast category and rated at gpm as opposed to mpg....

Alright Everyone, I am almost complete on the fabrication Phase, I should be ready to pull the engine next week and run it accross my run stand before I reinstall it for the last time. The Next big purchase is the Tranny rebuild then install the complete package for the last time. I am pretty satisfied the way the intercooler mouting and piping turned out and I am working routing the massive 4" exhaust using Mandrel 90deg, and 45 Deg tubing.
I picked up a CSU Blow through carb and I mounted my Racepumps regulator right next to the carb. Everything will fit under the stock hood
