Hey guys I finally got the truck to the Dyno and to the track.

After some Timing issues and a set of Bad wastegates I made about 600 to the Wheels in full street trim. My turbo exhaust housing is too small and at 5500 it starts restricting. I run a set of T72's with an .84 A/R i am hoping to replace the exhaust housing if they are availble if not I'll look at replacing turbo's next winter.

First shakedown pass I ran a 12.79 @ 106 with a 2.06 60ft, and second pass I went 11.86 @ 116 with a 2.08 60 ft.

The truck runs straight I have to tune the suspension and on the second pass I had some rocker nuts back off so I ordered a set of valve train studd girdles and I'll get it all put back together and hit the track again in a few weeks.

I believe with this set up i'll be in the mid 11's, once i swap turbo's hopefully 10's

Very nice video, hopefully you can improve on that.

Holy Cow, I cant believe its been that long since I logged on :(

Well lots of stuff has changed since. I ended up leaning out this engine and I torched a few pistons. It was a super hot day and I was continuously fighting with my fuel system. I was running a Mechanical Race Pumps which worked great on cold days but with any heat it vapor locked bad.

I wrecked my Cummins swapped square body, I sold my 1966 Nova project and I bought an 07 2500 classic duramax for my daily

The Stepside was taken back apart and I built the engine that was going to go into the Nova. Its a 505 Tall Deck BBC, 4.250 Crank, 6.800 Rods, Diamond Pistons, Merlin Heads, Dart Intake, MSD Ignition, Comp Cams full roller valve train, Air to water intercooler, Water/Meth injection, CSU Blow through Carb, Custom build 2 1/4 primary to 4" slip tube headers and an F2 Cog Procharger.

I also hand build a aluminum Bed Cover added a 8 point cage and in the process of painting it now. Hoping to get it all put back together before the snow flies.

The engine is installed and runs great. I will get the bed back from paint and swap it out with the cab. when the cab gets back I'll get everything assembled and on to the dyno.
