1977 Chevy Stepside re-do

Well with the dually almost complete I am starting to plan out my Stepside rebuild. In 1996 I pulled it down to the frame installed the 4 link, rebuilt the front end, replaced the doors, fenders, and hood, and repainted the truck.
This time around I plan on sanding the truck down and replace the door that my ex wife kicked in
as well as the putty filled rear fenders.
The big changes that are planned are
Narrow the rear end to accommodate the new Convo Pro 15X12 rims with 31X16.5 tires
Build an Aluminum flush mounted tonnou cover
Re do the wood floor
Build a Tall Deck 505, (10.2 deck, 4.250 crank shaft, 6.800 H beam rods, 4.350 pistons)
with an F2 Procharger producing 15-20 lbs of boost. Merlin Rect port cast iron heads, Dart tall deck intake manifold, and a blow through carb.
My goal is around 1000 horse power and mid 10 seconds at the track.
As soon as the heat breaks I'll be in the garage and I will post updates as I make progress

That sounds way awesome! Convo-pros are great, I have 15x10s in the back, with 0 backspacing and no room issues. You sure you need to narrow the rear end?

I bought used 15X12 rims so the backspacing was not exactly what I needed, the old saying pay me now or pay me later comes to mind
, i am also installing c clip elimanators at the same time

Here is the link to the truck I have had it since August of 1990 I bought it when I was a senior in High School
