the a/c in my 83 works. it blows cold, but the problem is it just doesnt blow very hard . i was wondering if there was somethingthat i could clean or replace to fix this problem. i had a friend suggest that i clean the evaporator, but i thought i would ask here before i try anything. also as a side question, when i do trun on the a/c it drags the rpms down very very low?

If the fan motor is running at proper speeds and there are no obstructions, kinked vents or disconnected vents then clean the evaporator.

also, there is a high idle control for the a/c that will kick up the rpms when you turn it on...you may need to replace that or make sure it's hooked up right...
