front brake squeal

1987 gm high sierra 4 wheel drive truck, new front pads,new rotors, when i apply the brakes i get this high pitched squeal. anybody know how i can stop this irratating noise.

how new are the components?

rotors and pads are about 3 months old.

Did they just start squealing or have they been squealing since you changed them?

started squealing about 2 months after i installed the rotors and pads. by the way the pads are the very best i could get, and i was told by the salesman they would not squeal. one other change i made about  a year ago,was i installed new leaf springs on the front i went from 2 leafs in the springs to 3 leaf in the springs. this raised the front of the truck about 1 inch or less. would this effect the combination vavle for the brakes?

The combination valve would really only effect the rear.

Brakes squeal due to pad vibration. Remove the caliper, clean and lube the slides so that they move freely. Put a little bit of moly grease on the back of the pads where they contact the caliper and piston.
