What trans is this btw?
Actually, that looks more like a TH-400 pan. the 700r4 pan is more square, and the up to 86 700r4s had reinforcements stamped into the pan. Also looks like the truck came with a 262 v6 from the factory.

Hey guys starting tearing down my truck and the rubber mounts between the radiator support and frame rails are trash. What are these called and where can I find some new ones?

x2 companies who sell the body bushings sometimes have them seperately so you can buy those only, but if you got the cash might as well buy the kit the cab ones are usually falling or already fell out.

Although on the heads, I got bashed by some idiot who didn't understand what I meant when I said some sbc heads are cast for 305's only, he tried to say they were not and any would fit a 350, well no doh they'll fit but as mentioned some have small chambers and sizes are were stock via casting numbers on 305's only. I tried to explain this further by posting the casting numbers that came up to 305's and he's like ohh by that theory you can't even put vortec heads on an older block and all this BS, I'm thinking God just shut up stupid I'm reffering to them havin small chambers and size and those were on 305's and not such a great choice on a 350 except for maybe higher CR, idiot just wouldn't get it through his head.

Thought it was a body mount but wasnt sure because its location.

Truck has a 305 in it with no heads, I was thinking of getting it running just to drive but a friend of mine has a rebuilt 350 but its in Ten and I'm in FL, so I dont want to put money into 305 when I can just work on rest of truck until I get motor.

yep you are very correct sir, not to mention the 1.84 or even 1.74 valve size I've seen before on the casting numbers break down. The smaller chambers would bump up the compression ratio but if they don't flow good enough it aint gonna help anything really.
