Yeah a dually lol , it should be a tank, I'm hoping so.... I found a guy to create a custom flatbed in town with tool boxes on each side underneath for a reasonable price considering ordering one. it won't be 8'6 long , more like 7'6", he has to take some measurements first though, I want it to be 7' feet wide and 7'6" long. Tool boxes to store saws, equipment ,fuel cans and oil for equipment, two for chains and rope, and a winch mount on the headboard, and integrated bumper, small 2 foot and 4 foot removable sides for different hauling jobs. Eventually have a hydraulic press installed and a lift gate would be sweet, front bumper made with winch and lights in the future...

This truck will be fully re-done. Everything that needs replaced or upgraded has been, there is a few things left to do, nothing too major, certainly will need a second fuel tank to keep the big block fed with fuel, frame will get strengthened in areas to hold extra weight and stress

The big block is FINALLY installed!!! I have grainy pictures but I will post more when I'm able to. What a long time it has been since an engine was in this truck. At last the motor is in , bolted down and getting dressed up and ready to run soon , transmission needs to be hooked up and all the accessories to the engine , then it will be primed and test fired. Hopefully it turns over and roars to life without headache. Getting closer and closer to being done! I will have to wait on the flatbed until early 2015 but I'm pumped to finally be finishing it!

SAWEEEEEET!!!!!! Glad you finally have the engine in place.

If you are looking for a second tank I ordered mine from rock auto. They had the best price including shipping. If you need brackets w/straps I have a set I'll give you (free). I gave them a quick coat of primer and black paint but might need touched up a bit. They should fit your frame. Let me know if you need them.

I need to put together another update on my truck but just haven't had the time. Hopefully this week I can post something and some more pics. Maybe even a video if I can figure out how..

Thanks Eric! I appreciate it!  I'm glad too that's for sure it's been a long time coming! Eric that would be epic, I will take you up on that because I am definitely adding a second fuel tank.... What size fuel tank are the brackets for?  I'll order a tank from rock auto then. What has been done to your truck lately? Haven't seen too many updates from ya buddy, life must be busy for you .... I hope you and your lady are doing well in life :-)       Now your talking,,, getting a video up would be saaaweeet.......

Well I had the dog house and hood FINALLY and I mean F-I-N-A-L-L-Y towed to where the truck is at from our home in the mountains. Towed all the way down the pass and to the south side of the city where the shop is located! So the dog house made it there safely along with the hood! Praise The Lord !  tomorrow the body parts will start getting installed to finalize the truck! I'd say a couple weeks at this rate of moving forward and it ought to be near finished guys!
