Hello, My name's Frank. I'm 44 and live in Riverside CA. I have a 86 Silverado I purchased from my Dad . Before this I had an Black 85 I purchased new but it was stolen in 94. I replaced it with a Red 87 similar to my Dad's. I regret trading that pick-up for a 97. This is a great site and It will be helpful in the future as I plan on keeping the truck I have now.

I am David. I live in Cincinnati. I am 37, married and 1 daughter.
I have an 84 shortbed c10 custom that I just dropped a 454 Big Block in and recently bought and 85 Silverado with a 307.
Probably will sell the 84 custom once I have gone thru the Silverado.

My name is Nick I'm originally from Canada but moved to Washington state a couple years back. I have a 1977 C-10 Stepside that I picked up a few months ago for cheap. It's been nothing but trouble since I got it but it looks real nice in my driveway haha. Can follow this link (

) for some picks and the story of my truck. Currently fighting with the TH350 Transmission booo~...and my wife about all the money I have already and plan to put into it.

Hey all, just joined from Minnesota. I'm here to find restoration information and maintenance tips for my 1986 Chev K20 Scottsdale. It was purchased new by my Dad and served as his construction pickup for close to 16 years. It was in wreck about 5 years ago where it was t-boned in the drivers' door, which caved in the door, b pillar, cab corner, box side, and front fender. The cab was also pushed over. This was all straightened, however the cab is still crooked, the door doesn't fit right and all the paint is peeling, chipping, and the body filler is cracking. I need help.

Hi. I am Frank, a longtime chevy man. ('54.'65,'69,.) I have owned this 78 Scottsdale 3/4T since '97. I bought it from an older couple who only drove it across the country a few times and twice on Sundays. They were good to it and I've been good to it also. I am looking forward to lurking around and picking up some tech tips, or other insights on gadgets or doohickeys. thanks

Hey, I'm Jordan White, 18, originally from Anoka, MN but currently going to school at Michigan Tech University. I own a 1973 C20 Pickup with the 350/400 combo. It doesn't look pretty when you first see it, but it sounds awesome due to the glasspack muffler adorning the chassis. So far I've added a floorshift, a tachometer, dual under-dash LED light bars, and I painted the bumpers and grille white, as well as dual white racing stripes..the truck is currently dark blue. Future plans include rebuilding the engine and tranny, new long tube headers, a straight pipe exhaust with stacks, 2" loift blocks in the rear, new wheels/tires, and a new paintjob.

Hey everyone!
My name is Ben from southern cali. and we are the ones that came out with the one piece door glass conversion kit for the 73-87 Chevy truck bodies.
When I was a kid my dad had a 75 long bed and back in the day it wan't against the law to ride in the bed. That was cool for me, but then the law changed. So I bought a 78 about 1 year ago and hopefully it will be ready for the SEMA show in Vegas for 2007.
I've been in the automotive glass industry since I could remember. My dad had pretty much been a glass man for over thirty years. I naturally followed with a little friction of course from the ol man, but dad's will be dad's.
We are going aggresive on designing and creating kits for the older vehicles that have vent windows.
You will all be noticing in the next coming months what I am talking about.
