Well im still lost about them wires....Cant get the fuel gauge to work right...
it looks like i should just have 2 grounds and then a Tan and white...But it moves it past fool..Then if i use a Dark brown wire..That acts like a ground it goes way past empty....Then if i touch the other Dark brown wire against 1 or 2 of the pink wires with black stripes it does the seat belt buzz but dont go off....So thats it...All i need help with is the seat belt and the fuel gauge....And also if i put a black ground wire into the Fuel slot it lights up both my turn singels and My chilton book is crap

can you se the pinouts? if not click on the links

here's what you had

here's what you are putting in.

All you have to do is match up the connector in the picture to be like in the second picture and then you should just plug it in... Take a look at them and compare with what you've got.

Didn't i post that in your other thread already? That schematic I just posted isn't showing you colors just circuit numbers and pinout locations.

redneck do you have a meter? I think you need to just do a few continuity test.

For example, take the coolant sender wire and hook it to one end of your meter, then take the other probe and touch each wire until you find the one that has continuity. Then just put it in the proper pin location in the connector.

Ohms Ω. Or continuity test if your meter has the function. Most decent ones do and will beep if you short the leads which makes it easier to test. It may have a diode symbol which looks like an arrow with a line. When shorted it should read zero.
