I mean moving the WHOLE core support (unbolting the bushings) and shifting it to the ungapped side.

In this pic, the bolts are all the way in, is it still like that?

yea i tightened all the bolts and it still had the gap but i took the fender off and put my old on and there is still a gap so i guess there is nothing wrong but what you said about moving the core support i will try that to

hey i got a guy to send me a reproduction fender and it looks just like my old fender i think i had a reproduction fender on my truck

Is it a GM fender? Is it dented outward on the inside? If it fits that bad just get a different fender.

the fenders are not dented but i am going to get new fender i know for sure a passenger fender hey vile are your fenders reproduction fenders because that fit good

On my 74 I have replacement GM fenders but I have a few aftermarket ones upstairs in my garage. I just gave one away. Too bad you didn't live closer....

So is the drivers fender workingout for you ok?I`ll see what i can do for a pass fender if you still need 1, i may hit a local yard and i think they got some 70s trucks so i`ll keep ya informed.

i got some work on the fender done after it stop raining it had some dents in it so i used some filler

ok when i got the fender i had some problems putting it on then i put my old fender on and it fit the same way so i put my new one back on ok now i got it primed and i started putting stuff back on when i got to the head light bezel the screw holes does not line up i got one in the top left side and the bottom left side but the fender is not far enough over to put the rest of them in.
