Did anyone hear about that whacko on the greyhound bus?
« on: August 03, 2008, 09:13:24 am »
This story disgusted me! The guy decapitated a passenger on the bus with his Rambo knife for no reason. Absolutely sickening. This is where I say an eye for an eye. Things like this deserve the reciprocal act.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if that would even hit the American news since it happened up here in Canada but I guess it was bad enough to make headlines. Sick eh? My wife was pretty disturbed by it and actually kept her up that night. Apparently the killer was a "real nice, quiet guy"   Very crazy!

yeah i heard about this last wednesday or thursday...very disturbing and i live next to canada too :-\. you'd think though with all the other people on the bus they could have taken out the attacker and try to help the guy gettin stabbed. it's too bad though.
Are you just gonna lay there and bleed or are you gonna cowboy up?

They should put him in pen and let who ever wants shoot him repeatedly with a pellet gun for a week or three. Then they should douse him with gasoline, and light him up!
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

The other tragedy here is that he's probably gonna get to spend the rest of his days in a cozy little mental institution; that's if he doesn't get released back into the general public after 10 or so years.

It's sad! I know my temperament and I can honestly say I would have probably freaked at first too but I would have found some weapons and some back up to mutilate him. It's hard to believe no one helped the victim at all.

No matter what country...and the politicians want to take guns away from law-abiding citizens.  ???

I heard of this story right after it happened and heard that over half the passengers were children.

I think no one helped because they were asleep and it was in the middle of the night.  Very Scary!

True. And just a day or two after that happened, locally here in Surrey, a guy got stabbed trying to help a woman who was being assaulted on the street.

Every person should be able to defends themselve against these asshats with deadly force.  I too cannot believe someone did not step in and do something.

....and the liberals are trying to take weapons away from law-abiding citizens.  I just don't understand Liberals. I don't understand people who support Liberals.

Ever hear of the term "Nanny State"?  I don't want to be told what I can do, when I can do it, and how to do what little I can do.

Sorry for the rave.  My blood just boils whenever rights are taken away from the ones who do the right thing.  In this particular case, probably nothing could have been done anyway, and, it was in another country, but anyway....

I have to agree, I carry a compact pistol almost all the time now on my person, If I saw it I would have to think someone would get shot.
