spark plugs too HOT

i have a 454 in my truck and according to the ground strap the autolite 24 plug is too hot does anyone have any recommendations of what ones to use

The ground strap indicates the heat range of the spark plug idk what year the block is

So you are saying you're reading your plugs and the ground electrode appears to discolored making you think the plug is too hot. What is your ignition timing? If you want to run Autolites use plug #145

this write up is what i was going off of to say they were to hot... my timing is at 38 the motor is prob 10:5 to 1
