Well we broke up so I guess there's nothing to be jealous about.  :o

I just got off the phone with Central CT Coatings which 86 chevy silverado recommended and am going to drop my headers off for a fresh recoating since there is som eroad rash on the bottom near the collector and some rust busting through. $235 bucks to strip and recoat inside and out.

Well yesterday I pulled apart then engine and am dropping ordering the parts. The nice thing is I got to see how everything turned out internally from this build and I must say I am  very happy with it's break in and fitment. It'll be back together and in in no time :D

No I'm just retarded and typo'd that post  :o I meant to say I am dropping off the crank and rods at the machine shop today and ordering the parts. Summit is paying for all of the parts less the crank and rods. Sorry about that.

Nice. Even though the valvetrain and heads didn't seem to be affected, you still had to tear all that down too?

Oh yeah. #1 I wanted to carefully inspect my entire build since I have the opportunity but the heads have to come off to pull out the pistons and connecting rods. I'm going to repaint everything again just to have a fresh look. I polished the intake today and it came out sweet! Basically it will all look the same but a little cleaner since I'm going to move around a few things too.

Update:

I got all my parts from Summit. I got the crank, pistons and rods back from the machine shop. I honed the cylinders again and am planning on washing everything and starting reassembly. I should make some progress tomorrow since I got all my xmas shopping done  :-X
